I Need Regeneration

“I need regeneration”
John 3:3-6
Regenerate is the different between being born of the flesh verses being born of the spirit.
I belong to Morning Star Community Christian Center, where the Dr. Therman Evans is the Pastor.
At Morning Star, we learn that God desires that we operate at our highest and best level.
This message needs to be taught. When we are born of the flesh, we do not start out operating at a level that God requires. Many of us barely even operate. People of born of the flesh are complex individuals. Sometimes we are unstable and emotional.
No one knows us like our creator (our Heavenly Father). He knows us better than we KNOW ourselves
God knows how much of a MESS we are. He knows how much work needs to bring us from where we are to where we need to be.
WE do not how much WORK we need!
When we r born of the spirit, we learn new things. We must un-learn what we have learned.
Things like sexual immorality, idolatry, hatred, jealousy, un-forgiveness, envy, revenge and pride.
We are not born as infants knowing these things. We pick these things up as we go along.
In other words, we have learned to be a mess. God specializes in cleaning and even using a mess
There is a show named clean house. They identify a family that have a messy house. They want there house clean, but will not let go of all the junk. This is just like many of us. Letting go is a process.
WE NEEDED REGENERATION From the beginning. LORD God formed the man from the dust¤ of the ground. We came from dirt.
You can tell by the way we talk sometimes (if you know want I mean). The difference (why we did not remain a pile of dirt) was God.His breathe of Life, which is Holy Spirit.
John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
He was talking to Nicodemus. A pharisee and teacher of Israel.
What he was saying was, even though, you are a teacher; YOU still need regeneration.
There are some things that you should see, but you cannot. You cannot see the kingdom of God.
There are some things that you know, but do not know. Many of God's people are just like Nicodemus: having knowledge, but not knowing.
It does matter who (preachers, deacons, trustees, ministry heads, etc.), we all have some mess that needs to be cleaned up. We are all a piece of work (and God is working on us all). Nicodemus is not the only person and that requires regeneration.
How do we get regenerated. We must accept Christ into our Lives.
2 cor 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
LET US Show the world we have been regenerated. Let’s show the world that we ARE NEW CREATIONS! Show the world you have a new walk. I us to have a flirty mouth, but God touch by mouth. He purged me of my iniquities. And now I can show the work I have a new talk. Tell them “the new has come”. If they ask, “How did you do it”, tell them I needed “regeneration”.
